A little bit about me . . .

I grew up in the Tampa area and began shooting professionally more than 20 years ago. I enjoy shooting weddings and also do a significant amount of commercial photography for local businesses and professionals. In addition to having my own business, I was a photographer for a local newspaper for almost a decade. I have been blessed with the opportunity to photograph many great (and even some famous) people over the years. From all of my experiences, I can truly say that being a photographer is a blast. I could not think of doing anything else with my life!

If you are newly engaged and looking for a photographer to shoot your wedding, then let me first offer my congratulations! I am sure that you are very excited about your big day. And, you should be . . . planning your wedding is a very exciting time, and each individual detail is important. I believe that the choice of a photographer is one of the most important decisions that you must make as a bride and groom. If you select a great photographer, you will cherish your photographs long after the wedding is over. And, that is my sincere wish for you.

My wife, Jennifer, comes to my weddings to capture images as a second photographer as well as assist with family lists and coordination. As your photographers, we will always strive to capture your most special and cherished moments, so that you may share them with your children and grandchildren in the years ahead. It always makes my day when a bride and groom see their wedding album for the first time . . . knowing that we were able to play a special part in capturing those memories for them. We would indeed be honored to have the opportunity to be part of one of the most important days of your lives!

Answers to our most frequently asked questions!

Q: Can you describe your photography style?

A: I get asked this question a lot! I would describe our style as both journalistic and natural. We like to shoot clean images, with little manipulation or toning. We believe natural images are timeless and will be cherished for years to come.

Q: Will you hold my date?

A: In order to hold your date, we require a signed contract and a 50% nonrefundable deposit. The balance is due two weeks before your wedding date.

Q: Do you work with a second photographer?

A: Yes, my wife, Jennifer, helps out at weddings as my second photographer and assistant. On rare occasion, Jennifer is not avaiable, and I will bring another photographer to assist me.

Q: Do you offer engagement sessions?

A: Yes, and we highly recommend an engagement session for several reasons. For one, it's an easy way to try out a photographer to see if you like his/her style and the quality of their work. Also, an engagement session allows you to build a relationship with your photographer so that you'll be more comfortable in front of the camera on your wedding day. Most importantly, such a session is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to capture your engagement in unique and beautiful photos for you to enjoy for years to come.

Q: Do you shoot video?

A: No, we only shoot still images. However, we can recommend a videographer, if you are looking for one.

Q: When can we expect our photos?

A: We typically deliver all of the final images to the bride and groom within three weeks of the wedding date.

Q: Do you recommend we get a storybook album and how does the album creation process work?

A: Yes! We recommend a custom storybook to all of our clients. There is no better way to tell the story of your wedding day than through the creation of a beautiful storybook. The process is simple and goes like this: You pick your favorite photographs, then I take those photos and design the first draft of your custom storybook. Once you review the draft, we make changes based on your feedback, and we make as many changes as you want! Once your storybook is absolutely perfect, we send it off to our custom album vendor for printing and binding. Then, once your book arrives, I review it and hand-deliver it to you! We think a storybook is a beautiful way to display your wedding photos and is definitely worth every penny.
